A beautiful hike through the heart of the Jorasse Forest, which is traditionally covered in deep snow (to reach the highest point, the Avenaz).
Starting from the Cornillon parking lot or the upper Lezaive parking lot, set out to explore the Jorasse Forest by taking the forest road uphill. The return trip follows a slightly steeper path but remains within the forest.
This loop is the easiest and shortest in Cordon, making it ideal for families.
Toward the end of the loop, the trail gets a little steeper.
The trail for the Cornillon loop is marked with fuchsia-colored signs.
