Description

This itinerary, located in the midst of a traditional habitat, offers a pleasant route with superb panoramic views of the Mont-Blanc and Fiz ranges. The view is unobstructed and the path is sunny.

This loop has two departures: either from the Chalet du Dandry (at the start of the ski resort) or from the Route de la Jorasse (near the start of the Frébouges ski lift). You'll be close to the ski slopes along the way.

Guided steps

Departure 1: from the Chalet du Dandry (departure from the ski resort)

1/ From the Dandry parking lot, head down towards the bottom of the resort, for a 1h30 walk. 2/ Take the path down beside the ski slope, and follow the snowshoe signs to the Route de la Jorasse parking lot, near the start of the Frébouges ski lift. 3/ Then head back up the same path, descending close to the same path you came up on. 4/ Follow the same path back up to the top of the voie de la Charité. 5/ Follow the snowshoe signs to the parking lot.

Departure 2: from route de la Jorasse (near the start of the Frébouges ski lift)

1/ Leave the parking lot at a bend, close to the route de la Jorasse, for a 1h30 walk. 2/ Take the path up beside the ski slope, and follow the snowshoe signs to the Dandry parking lot. 3/ Then descend close to the same path up. 4/ Take the same path back to the parking lot.
