Cycling circuit: Circuit du Pays du Mont Blanc

An itinerary that crosses several traditional villages of the Mont Blanc region, with a rich heritage, and offers magnificent panoramas on the Mont Blanc and the neighboring mountains and a passage along the lake of Ilettes at the end of the stage.

Direction of travel: counter-clockwise This loop starts in Sallanches at the Pré Curral (Salle Léon Curral parking lot), and follows the cycle path along the Biale stream. Landmarks and connections : Direction Cordon, then over Combloux town center Combloux town center, then through Megève town center to the then on to Saint-Gervais. Finally, the Voie Verte takes you around Lac des Ilettes and back to Sallanches along the Arve. Variant: possibility of extending the route to make a loop loop through the commune of Contamines-Montjoie. This extends the circuit by 20 km and adds 400m to the total ascent.
